My "garden girl", Kiki knows she’s not allowed in my garden beds, and she’s usually very good about that.

How do I keep her out? First, she has her own sand box as a great alternative, and she loves it.

Secondly, when I replant a bed, and before the plants fill in, I use tomato cages to make it a little less appealing both to Kiki, and the racoons. I also spray peppermint oil on the boxes as a racoon deterrent.
