Welcome to the second installment of this video series on attracting beneficial insects to your garden by working with nature. In this video, I discuss two strategies that I found to be effective in attracting these remarkable species. As a natural food source for the predators we needed, I first allowed an infestation of aphids to persist in the garden.
Secondly, I planted special herbs in the garden that are known to attract beneficial insects particularly well, providing an ideal habitat for these insects. By the end of the episode, you'll have a better understanding of the importance of attracting a diversity of insects to your garden as well as how to apply these two methods to promote a healthy ecosystem in your garden.
